I first got introduced to programming in middle school by trying my hand at writing automation scripts for a popular MMORPG. It didn't workout but things really took off in high school when I was introduced to coding RobotC for VEX Robotics kits. I knew then I wanted to program hardware for a living and the rest was history :)
These days my side projects are completely in the field of game engine programming. Mainly focusing on graphics subsystems. I've been trying to code those amazing graphics I use to see in video games as a kid 🧑🏿💻

I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. It truly is a great sport and a wonderful way to bring people together. I use to play recreational at UNC Charlotte and on a field in my neighborhood. These days I play 3 times a week in Colorado with friends.
Some of my fondest memorizes as a kid was playing Final Fantasy III remake (Nintendo DS), Kingdom Hearts II (PlayStation 2), Star Fox Adventure (GameCube), GTA 5 (PlayStation 3), and The Last of Us (PlayStation 3). I would often stay up all night playing on the weekends. These days as a adult, I don't have the same amount of free time but I still love them :)
Music is very transformative. There is nothing like a song or string of notes that can describe exactly how you're feeling. I listen to a lot of genres (rap, pop, and rock to name a few). Recently I've taken up playing the guitar (1.5 years now). My dad has been playing for a long time and teaches me and my brother whenever he can. I'd like to get good enough to play in church, family events, and one day write songs with friends.
I've always been interested in computers since I was a little kid. This interest would contribute to me to majoring in Computer Engineering and sticking to the embedded systems/low level programming jobs for a career. I've also upgraded my PC bit by bit. You can often find me playing around on PC Parts Picker 🖥️
I've had a love for reading from an early age. I remember the first book I ever read for pleasure were the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riorden and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Check out my good reads for book recommendations:
